Miller Dial Adds Two New Durable Switch Options
Miller Dial, a 3Sixty Company, is adding to their product offering again. In response to their customer’s requests Miller Dial has added the Duraswitch line of products to their already impressive product offering. Jim Kaldem, Miller Dial’s GM, stated “We are here to provide our customers what they want, it is that simple. If our customers tell us that we need to provide an extremely durable solution to their switch requirements then we will respond. Duraswitch is a proven technology and offers the durability required in certain applications. We are excited to be able to offer this solution to our customers.”
In addition to the Duraswitch offering Miller Dial has also developed a proprietary process called “DPL” or “Durable Protective Layer” which can be added to many switch configurations. In applications where a switch may be subjected to actuations by objects, such as a pen, the DPL layer protects the switch layers from being harmed. “Extending the life of membrane switches that are being used in non user-friendly environments is essential to keeping customers satisfied. No one wants to be continually faced with the expense of swapping out switches on equipment simply because the users choose to actuate the buttons with implements. Our intent is to offer a medium cost solution that in the long run will save our customers money by protecting the switch from abuse” said Jim Kaldem.
Miller Dial, in business for 70 years, continually looks for new and innovative ways to satisfy market demands. In 2006 they licensed the Kolorfusion process in order to be able to offer current and new customers a truly unique decoration process. This process can be found on the Miller Dial website under “Designs Infused”. Miller Dial feels that Kolorfusion provides a “Wow Factor” to plastic and metal products that their competitors cannot offer.
Jim Kaldem put it fairly simply when he said “Miller Dial intends on being the solution. When customers are looking for innovation we want them to know that we are here to assist in that solution. If we do not currently have the technology or product available then we will find it. Our customers will always know that when they come to Miller Dial they are aligning with a team of individuals that understand it is our response to them that will ultimately be our measure of success.”
